Black Desert Online Remastered Graphics Update

The game received an update which claims to have “remastered” graphics but I’m not so convinced as a lot of the visual effects make the game look worse in many areas.

Which one looks better, left or right?

Left screenshots were taken in very high settings, right are all remastered settings. Personally, the left screenshots in Very High settings looks more like a fininshed product with greater consistency and for a better comparison I have a video showing both visuals side by side.
