BT Business Smart Hub 6 Update

My Business Smart Hub 6 arrived and whilst very similar to the Home Hub 6 it has the option to run the Router in Bridged Mode, which turns all features off so I can be used as a VDSL modem only. I ran this into my PFSense Box without issues and the line speed sync’ed higher than the DrayTek Vigor NIC 132.

I only managed a few weeks with this setup as my BT contract was about to expire soon and seeing as prices from BT are increasing way too much for the limited speeds they offer I decided to move on. My next ISP is Virgin Media, going for their VIVID 300 package which will come without any form of traffic management. I’m hoping it will be an improvement but time will tell.
